Welcome, and thank you for visiting. I graduated from Columbus State Community College in December 2025 with an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science focused on software development. Since then, I have continued building on that technical foundation while pursuing an MBA in IT Management at Western Governors University, which I expect to complete in April 2027.

My work increasingly sits at the intersection of technology, operations, business analysis, and product strategy. I am interested in solving practical problems with technology, evaluating requirements, improving processes, and translating technical information into solutions that support business and customer needs.

My software development capstone, GrainRegistry, is a serverless AWS grain title tracking system designed to improve traceability in agricultural transactions. The system uses AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, and SHA-256 cryptographic hashing to support title creation, ownership transfers, marketplace workflows, verification, and role-based access. Building the system required me to translate a real-world business process into application workflows, data structures, validation rules, and security controls.

Prior to my bachelor's degree, I held positions as an instructional designer and a data center support technician at Columbus State Community College. During this period, I leveraged my skills to implement ASP code projects, automating webpage creation for distance learning information listings. These initiatives not only streamlined departmental workflows but also facilitated faster and more accurate updates.

Before returning to school for computer science, I developed a broad technical and operational background. At The Ohio State University’s Physics Computing Facility, I supported Linux, Mac, and Windows systems, network connections, laboratory systems, and custom research hardware. At Columbus State Community College, I worked in online course services and instructional design, helping support a large-scale Blackboard LMS transition, developing web-based tools, automating processes, and providing technical training and support.

I also worked in media production, where I managed technical operations, client projects, budgets, servers, networks, and production systems. Later, I worked in construction and engineering-related roles, including project management, safety management, structural design support, load calculations, and coordination with engineers, architects, contractors, and production teams.

In addition, I bring approximately 25 years of U.S. Army experience across Infantry, Drill Sergeant, Drill Sergeant School Instructor, and Corps of Engineers roles. That experience strengthened my leadership, accountability, communication, training, problem-solving, and ability to perform effectively in demanding environments.

Today, I bring together software, cloud technology, engineering-related experience, project management, business analysis, and leadership. I am especially interested in opportunities where technical understanding and business strategy come together to support better products, systems, and decisions.
